This Filipino-British Gen-Z icon is due to release her second studio album this July, Beatopia. Offering a deeply personal world that was originally created in the imagination of her 7-year-old self, Beabadoobee is someone you should keep your eye on during this festival season.

JACK HARLOW: 7:30pm BACARDI STAGE (HANNAH FOSTER)

Fresh off the release of his stellar release Come Home The Kids Miss You, the internet’s latest crush, Jack Harlow, is gearing up to perform at The Governor’s Ball. Smooth talking Kentucky charm, a slick flow and witty lyrics make this rapper a star rapidly on the rise, and not one to be missed.

VALLEY: 1:10pm GOPUFF STAGE (EMILY YOUNG)

Canadian indie pop band Valley have been making steady progress since their 2021 album Last Birthday. Pulling influences from a variety of genres, Valley provides fans with upbeat pop melodies with nostalgic undertones. They’re quickly becoming a staple within the pop music scene, and are definitely a band you do not want to miss!

STILL WOOZY: 5pm GOVBALLNYC STAGE (EMILY GOTTLIEB)

California-native Still Woozy is established worldwide for his experimental and genre-bending sound. His debut album If This Isn’t Nice, I Don’t Know What Is features a range of stylistic influences - from bedroom pop to classic rock to R&B. Make sure you catch Still Woozy’s one-of-a-kind energy on the GOVBALLNYC Presented by Verizon Stage.

halsey: 8:45pm GOVBALLNYC STAGE (EMILY young)

With catchy songs, invigorating lyrics and honest insights into their journey of motherhood and health issues, Halsey’s latest album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power is a visual and audial masterpiece. Accompanied with the release of a companion film of the same name, Halsey’s stage presence and unique vocals is what makes her stand out.


SUNDAY, JUNE 12

KAIEN CRUZ: 12pm GOVBALLNYC STAGE (ALEX SHUKRI)

Getting her start from ‘Love Me in the Dark’, 23- year-old South African artist Kaien Cruz is truly one to look out for this year. This pop/R&B artist had her debut performance on Justin Bieber’s Purpose tour and hasn’t looked back. Signed to CAA, she’s independently released her EP Demos for Ransom and is currently set to perform at some of the biggest festivals of 2022.


SURF CURSE: 2:35pm GOPUFF STAGE (DAVID BARTER)

This alternative/indie rock duo hailing from Nevada are a classic example of everything great about their genre. A mixture of dancey feel-good tracks balance some head-banging rockers, giving them the vibe for any venue. Fans of Editors, Circa Waves or White Lies are sure to love the great sound Surf Curse delivers.


J. COLE: 8:30pm GOVBALLNYC STAGE (DAVID BARTER)

J. Cole is one of the most iconic and talented rappers in the modern era. With his noteworthy albums Forest Hill Drive and more recent Offseason, he remains one of the few patrons keeping the old school roots alive whilst remaining relevant in the new age sound. A true lyrical master, using his voice to give perspective on self-reflective values and controversial issues.
