PREVIEW: ALL POINTS EAST 2025 - THE MACCABEES
The Maccabees will make a long-awaited return to the big stage this summer with their headline show at the annual All Points East festival in London on 24 August 2025. The festival is taking place in London’s Victoria Park as part of the festival’s bank holiday weekend, All Points East is a long-running festival which spans over multiple weeks.
This performance marks the end of The Maccabees reunion tour, having completed a set of farewell shows in 2017, fans thought they saw the last of The Maccabees but this reunion tour marks a significant moment for the fans who waited close to a whole decade to see them perform live one more time.
The lineup for the Sunday is packed with fantastic artists throughout the indie/alt scene. For example, the wonderful CMAT, known for her incredible string of 2025 shows with her newest single ‘Take A Sexy Picture Of Me’ from her upcoming album ‘EURO-COUNTRY’ achieving worldwide success thanks to fans and creators on social media platforms - a true example of how powerful social media has become to artists.
Also on the lineup are Sorry, Black Country, New Road and Man/Woman/Chainsaw, three personal favourites of mine whose soundscapes will fill those at Victoria Park with excitement and anticipation for The Maccabees. The lineup is curated to reflect a wide range of the UK music scene and does especially well with spotlighting upcoming and rising talent.
The Maccabees headline set will close the festival on the East Stage with a showtime of 8:45pm to 10:15pm, an appreciated early finish for those who have work the following Monday. Fans alike should expect a well-curated setlist of favourites from throughout their career and revisiting songs that helped shape their incredible reputation throughout the UK’s music scene.
