PREVIEW: EAT YOUR OWN EARS ANNIVERSARY

Eat Your Own Ears have been London’s most ground-breaking music promoters for plenty of years now, they have collaborated with a wide variety of artists, venues, and publications to create multiple unforgettable events.

On the 19th of November, The Warehouse Project’s own Mayfield Depot will welcome the prolific promoters once again, to celebrate their anniversary milestone with another fascinating line-up.

Taking over all three of the venue’s stages, attendees will be greeted with a wide spectrum of artists and sounds varying from DJ sets to performances, including Depot stage exclusive Four Tet and Floating Points B2B and live sets from Overmono, DJ Seinfeld and Leon Vynehall.

The Concourse stage will host Folamour and Daphni, alongside Joy Orbison, Romy from the xx’s, and many more. Likewise, the Archive stage welcomes Erol Alkan as the headliner, followed by Jessy Mitsu, Two Shell, and live performances from John Glacier and Elkka.

The founder of Eat Your Own Ears, Tom Baker, praised the WHP, having put on an event in the past with them, explaining their simultaneous growth and evolution, and setting expectations high for this years anniversary event, showing excitement and heralding celebrations with the line-up set to the WHP’s standards. “I’m very proud to celebrate Eat Your Own Ears’ anniversary with another eclectic and brilliant line-up that brings together so many of the artists EYOE has worked with over the years alongside some exciting new artists, that is sure to be a truly joyous and magical night in Manchester.”

Alongside this audiences can expect to hear cuts from the first ever EYOE EP, a compilation album that released this summer, a product of the new record label Eat Your Own Ears Recordings’ launch, and that features artists included in the roster present during the anniversary event. It is set to be an unforgettable night of music and celebration.
